Dear Waraku Customers,

Since 2008, Waraku has been in this Suwanee location for 14 years and created a community of incredible customers who are dear to our hearts. We have been a neighborhood staple providing authentic Japanese food in a warm, family-like atmosphere and would like to thank all of our loyal customers who visited us regularly and supported us over these past years. We are extremely humbled that so many embraced our restaurant and that we were able to succeed as long as we had. And we c​ould not have done it without all of you.

Waraku provided us with so much more than food but nourishment for our souls where we share stories at the sushi bar over a cup of sake, chatting with the owner about life in general, supporting a immigrant family of four, and just the extra gestures that make us feel at home in the local community. We were able to become gathering place to share daily tidbits, celebrate big events, or just to share a table with friends and family.

It saddens us to say this but our time has come to an end and we announce the closing of Waraku Japanese Restaurant. With a 50% increase in rent and the rising food costs, it is not fair to our customers to keep increasing the menu prices. The past few years have taken their toll on us and we simply cannot afford to relocate and open another Waraku.

Our last day will be December 31st, 2022. Thank you for your loyal patronage over the past years and we hope that we can provide an authentic Japanese meal for you before we leave.
